Focus and interests

My research lies in personality and social psychology.

Broadly, I focus on the structures, processes, and dynamics of personality and individual differences in different domains (e.g., cognitive, affective-emotional, motivational, behavioral, social-interpersonal), especially from an evolutionary perspective. I am interested in themes such as stability vs. plasticity and development in those domains as well as process-focused transactions with the environment.

Specific interests:

►    Person-situation transactions, situations (conzeptualization, taxonomization, measurement)

►    Trait-inferences (interpersonal perception and personality judgment)

►    Dark traits (narcissism, Machiavellianism, psychopathy)

►    Attraction, mating
